In a perfect world, this is a self-balancing point system, but that's not what Hearthstone players are actually seeing. And most players don't have the time to just sit in front of the computer and play Hearthstone all day. It's so widespread that players are convinced Hearthstone's matchmaking was changed, but Blizzard didn't announce any changes.

  1. Naturally, the same is true of losing.
  2. In my experience of around arena runs, I would say that the first matchup is definitely the hardest.
  3. You should always be critical there is no point in blindly believing any company because they have provided you with a good product before.
  4. But for the best players in Hearthstone, they've been happening a lot lately.
  5. Well done for trying to dig into this.
  6. Maybe they match losses and not wins?
  • Matchmaking is the process of determining appropriate pairings in Hearthstone.
  • Players are initially placed in a separate pool, allowing them to play exclusively against other new players.
  • Casual Play mode matchmaking includes a new player pool.
  • For the Legend players, that makes climbing the ladder and improving their Legend rank nearly impossible.

It's so bullshit, whenever I see mage it's an autopick. It's a bullshit no-skill strat, but, I mean, it's gold. How dare Blizzard be so cavalier with my precious I suck, and must grind for my gold Arena runs. If you're wondering where they got your email address form, they randomly generate characters for an email and email to every such generated emails. Because wins and losses will ultimately result in an adjusted rating or rank, luke are such variance can also lead to a yo-yo effect with pairings.

What the hell is going on with Hearthstone s matchmaking

Either way seems petty, though. He got competely murdered by my insane mage deck, I found it really hard to believe that this guy was anywhere close to my stats. If you're right then I guess it kind of explains how they keep the queuing times so short. Also had like getting completly wrecked when by insane decks and then breeze trough to before finding another good deck. Lost my first match handily, and was a bit confused about it.

Everyone else didn't respond. Considering the casual nature of the game, I'm not sure what I'd think about that. When a player enters the matchmaking queue the system will attempt to find another player in the queue with an identical matchmaking value.

Blizzard and flamestrike are the best cards for turning this around. No matter how few people this should never be the case. This is basically why Mages are perceived as so strong along with hero ability. But if it's true, it would be really sick. Join in Community portal Community discussion Admin noticeboard.

Hearthstone matchmaking is bullshit

Ever wonder why free to play games have all these ridiculous obstacles that get in the way of the game play? Having a decent early game is just that important in arena. There are worse gaming companies than blizzard that lies. Creating a fake link to the Runecape website etc.

If you're saying they're targeting archetypes and not individual players for poor matchups, they why are they doing such a crappy job keeping paladin down? Anecdotally a lot of people have said your first matchup is often one of your hardest. Actually, I just checked my screenshots.

Also the system tries to get you a game within a reasonable time and not make you wait potentially a long time to get matched with someone exact. Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain. It's the more popular archetypes. Then at I was paired against monster paladin again.

That makes a lot of sense. After or so arenas this wouldn't shock me at all. And I swear in at least half my games, clique nyc dating I got a fantastic curve in my opening hand.

Mage is simply more straightforward to play. Interesting to see some people have the same thing happen. If you're getting frustrated by a string of losses, remember that frustration typically results in impaired performance, and take a break.

Yep, that happens sometimes. When you're you're facing other losers, rate 80000 matchmaking when you're or you're facing no-loss decks. This doesn't surprise me in the least.

Why does arena seem to be such bullshit hearthstone

For players on their first few Arena runs, matchmaking is intentionally altered to provide an easier transition into the game mode. If you've ever played an online game, you've probably complained about the matchmaking. In Casual Play mode and the Arena, new players are initially placed into special matchmaking pools to ease them into the game.

If your opponent gets a perfect curve, it might also make their deck seem much better than what it actually is. They mass emailed it and anyone who received an email could see a massive list of everyone else they emailed it to. Soon, password phishers started to email everyone on this list pretending to be Jagex. So if we're being paired against players with higher wins than us, then this wouldn't surprise me.

Matchmaking is really weird. Fucking pisses me off to no end when you lose to a total idiot who misplays every turn because he has godlike cards and you got the shaft. Imagine hopping into a quickplay match in Rainbow Six Siege or Overwatch only to queue into a match with a stacked team of pros.

Matchmaking might be a bit off. If you assume matches are fixed for you, so they are for everyone else. Everyone was polite, and one redditor even asked me if I was the op of this thread.
